K. James Campbell, born in Ottawa, 1930, married Maureen E. Good (1931-2024) in 1955, two sons, Wesley (Kelly) and Alan (Angelica), two granddaughters Christi (John) and Rebecca, and three great-granddaughters Josephine, Mackenzie and Alexandra.
A graduate of Carleton and McGill Universities, he was honoured to be ordained a minister of the United Church. He served four congregations in Ontario: Frazerville, Royal York Road in Etobicoke, Parkwoods in Don Mills, and 26 years at St. John's United in Oakville. Jim was a Rotarian for over 55 years and a Paul Harris Fellow. He was honoured with an Ontario Bicentennial Medal and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pin for community service. He received a Doctor of Divinity from his college.
In retirement, Jim and wrote columns for magazines. He and Maureen travelled the world hosting tours and cruises.
A memorial service will be held in St. John's United Church in Oakville on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m followed with a reception at the church in Lusk Hall.
In his memory, those who wish are invited to donate to the St. John's United Church Trust Fund .
