Peacefully, at home, with dignity and surrounded by her loved ones, Kathleen Pinfold passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her sister Adie and brothers Vincent and Henry. Cherished and much loved mother of Cathy, Michael (Shauna) and John (Heather). Left to mourn her are grandchildren Kori, Ryan, Matthew, Kyle, Nathaniel, Aaron, Rachel, Natasha and Shauntel. She will be greatly missed by her sister Mable and her brother Franklin. Loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a beautiful lady who will be missed by many. Kathleen was a registered nurse who received her nursing and midwifery certificate in England before coming to Canada where she was a respected, caring and dedicated nurse for over 45 years at hospitals in Ottawa and Toronto before finishing her career at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where she spent over 30 years. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who provided exceptional care to Kay during her short illness. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville. Funeral to be held at 11:00 am Friday February 3, 2012 at St. Paul's United Church, 454 Rebecca St. Oakville. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery. Reception to follow.
