Peacefully on Tuesday January 1, 2013 at age 78. Katharina, beloved wife of the late Alexander. Dear mother of Peter and Alexandra. Beloved sister of Victoria, Stephanie and Caroline. Dear grandmother of Ryan and Matthew. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 7-8:30 pm on Tuesday January 8th and 7-8:30 pm on Wednesday January 9th with a Panahyda being held both evenings at 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday January 10, 2012 at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 300 River Oaks Boulevard East, Oakville. Interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
