Tulloch, Karl Ignatius and Sybil (Rita) Carmen (nee Da Costa) each passed peacefully on May 10, 2021 and January 13, 2021 respectively. Karl and Rita were friends foremost before they were wed on November 15, 1958 for 62 years.

They are adored and survived by son Paul (Debra), daughters Susan and Donna(Raymond) Cardoza. They will forever be legendary to their grandchildren Ryan, Adam, Joseph, Lauren, Justin and Hannah. We will speak of them often to their great grandsons Brady and Eli.
Karl will be dearly missed by his surviving sisters Dorothy, Yola, Jean and Anne Marie and his brother Francis. Predeceased by his brothers Keith Horace and Vernon. Rita is predeceased by her brother Donald and sisters Olive and Dorothy. There are too many nieces and nephews who will miss them who all claim favouritism.
The finest of individuals together made a beautiful love story. Devotion, honour and respect were the foundation of their life together. Their lessons to all who knew them were self-discipline, stellar work ethic and commitment to faith and family. Their selfless love, humour and sacrifice for their family moves us to be better people. The sting of their loss is superseded only by the joy of having been gifted them.
Their children wish to thank the Staff of Vistamere Retirement Home for their support for Rita. We also would like to express a depth of gratitude to Wyndham Manor LTC and West Oak Village LTC for the exemplary care and compassion for Rita and Karl respectively.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. Due to COVID restrictions a private prayer service will be held on May 19, 2021 in the chapel of Kopriva Taylor. A link will be provided above for those who would like to honour Karl and Rita and watch the service. A private internment will take place at St. Jude's in Oakville.
