Surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Chris for 37 years, devoted mother of Jackie (Merritt Shields), Mandy (Justin Pope) and Ryan (Laiken Palmeter), loving Omi of Benny, cherished sister of Bernie Treidl and dear daughter of the late Rudolph and Gertrude Treidl.  Karen will be remembered as a kind, strong, compassionate and supportive woman.  She was a Customs Officer at Toronto Pearson International Airport for 20 years before pursuing her passion to be a teacher at the Halton Catholic District School Board.  Karen was an avid baseball fan and played in the GALS League for many years.  She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  A visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Saturday May 14 th , 2022, from 1-3pm with a funeral service from 3-4pm.  A celebration of life to follow.
