It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jutta Semler peacefully in her home at the age of 87.

Beloved wife to the late Peter Semler. Loving mother to Thomas (Cathy), and Martin (Christina). Cherished Oma to Michelle, Rachel, Oliver and Charlotte. Predeceased by her brother Helmut and daughter Sabine.

To know Jutta was to know true joy. She will be remembered for her love of life and those around her, her vivacious laugh, love of the arts, her beautiful garden, captivating storytelling and her adventures around the world. She will live on in the memories and stories of her many, many friends and relatives in Canada, Germany and beyond.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 25th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore West in Oakville. In memory of Jutta and in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The family wishes to acknowledge and appreciates the support of her many friends and relatives.
