In Loving Memory of Julie Eleanor Walker

April 23, 1974 – July 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Julie Eleanor Walker on July 3, 2026, far too soon at the age of 52.

Julie will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her. Throughout her journey, she faced every challenge with remarkable courage and grace, continuing to think of others even during her most difficult days.

Julie loved her daughter, Clara, and her son, AJ, deeply. She also shared many years with her former husband and good friend, Ahren, with whom she built her family with.

Julie was a proud insurance broker and worked for many years with her dear friend Bob MacDermott at Romac Financial. She was also well known as a server at Cuchulainn's Irish Pub in Streetsville, where her warm personality, friendly smile, and authentic kindness created many lasting friendships. Some may also know her for her crafty balloon installations, her remarkable ability to whip up a delicious meal, or create a stunning charcuterie board in no time at all. Whether helping clients, serving guests, or entertaining for those she loved, Julie had a remarkable way of making people feel welcome.

Julie was predeceased by her beloved father, Jim, in 2021. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary; her daughter, Clara; her son, AJ; her former husband, Ahren; her sister, Nicole; her brother-in-law, Scott; her nephew, Brayden; her niece, Shaela; and many extended family members, dear friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Julie is finally at peace.

Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who surrounded Julie with love throughout her journey. Your prayers, messages, visits, meals, flowers, and countless acts of kindness carried us through an incredibly difficult time, and we will be forever grateful.

A Celebration of Life in the near future will be announced shortly.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Julie's memory to Dorothy Ley Hospice. Although Julie's time there was brief, the compassion, dignity, and kindness shown to Julie and our family during her final moments, and in the hours that followed, brought us immense comfort and peace. We will always be grateful for the care they provided.

Julie will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. She wanted everyone to know that whenever you see a white butterfly, know that she is with you.
