IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judy
Ellis-Ali
November 17, 1940 – July 7, 2020
It is with profound sadness that we announce Judy's passing. After surviving two bouts of cancer, Judy died from Parkinson's Disease at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH).
Judy was born in Trinidad, West Indies, and emigrated to Montreal in 1987 where she worked at Vigi Mont Royal taking care of the elderly. She moved to Oakville in 2002.
She was cherished and loving mother to Gena and son-in-law, Christopher, and devoted grandmother to Ariana. Judy had a very wide circle of friends from around the world whom she loved dearly.
Judy was a sincere, thoughtful, and generous person who loved to laugh and enjoyed watching Seinfeld with her grand-daughter and traveling around the world. Most of all, Judy loved taking care of her family, and being the self-proclaimed "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer". She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always celebrated.
Tremendous thanks to the Palliative Care Staff at OTMH, Acclaim Health, and staff at Toronto General and Princess Margaret Hospitals.
A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Monday, July 13th, at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Oakville, Ontario. Cremation will follow. A celebration of Judy's life and Internment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you kindly donate to Parkinson Canada.
