With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jovan Dragicevic, born in Selo Turic, Kninska Opština, on August 15, 1935.
Jovan was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marta, with whom he built a life centered on family, tradition, and resilience. He was a devoted father to Nikola (late Mika), Gliso, and Dusan (Suzana), and a cherished grandfather to Jovica (Tanja), Jovanka (Dejan), Marko (Marija), Sofia (David), Martina (Sam), Nikolina, and Magdalena. He was a proud great-grandfather to Mia, Tomislav, Lily, Mae, Neve, Natalia, Ariana, Fenix, Marcellus, Aris, and Leon.
Jovan is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Milica (Jovan) Andic, he will be deeply missed by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, Kumovi and friends.
He was known for his unwavering strength, love for his family, and the values he passed down through generations. His presence will be missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block East of Kerr Street), Oakville from 4pm to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th, 2025, at Saints Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 1039 Dundas Street West, Oakville at 10am, with reception at the Church Hall to follow.
