On Saturday the 20th of January 2024, Joseph Sciortino passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Doris Sciortino (2019) - they were married for 67 years. Loving father of three daughters Karen (Guy), Anne, and Louise (John); proud grandfather of Joseph Tuffner and Rachel Tuffner (Eryk); predeceased by his brother, Marcel Daoust (Lillian).

Joseph was well known for the many stories of his travels, but his favourite place to relax would always be the beautiful beaches of Prince Edward Island surrounded by his extended family of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at St. Andrew Catholic Church St. Andrews Catholic Church 47 Reynolds St., Oakville, on  Wednesday, March 6th for visitation from 10:15 am until Celebration of Mass at 11:00am.  There will be a reception in the parish hall following the mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gladly welcomed.
