It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Eduino Correia. He passed away peacefully on Friday April 17, 2026 with his loving family by his side. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished family man. Jose was born on December 9, 1953, to his parents, Eduina Oliveira DaSilva Correia and Jose Estacio Correia.

Jose lived a life grounded in family, commitment, and quiet strength. He was the beloved husband of Adelia Correia, with whom he shared a lifelong partnership built on love and dedication. This year, on July 10th, they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring bond.

He was a proud and caring father to his three children: his eldest daughter, Marcia Correia; his second daughter, Geni Correia Grilo (Victor Grilo); and his youngest son Andrew Correia. Jose took great pride in his family and found his greatest joy in seeing them grow and thrive.

Jose will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong values, and the legacy he leaves behind in the lives of those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Portuguese Parish, 2451 Old Bronte Road, Oakville, Ontario, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
