It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jorden Macey Ferguson, who left us far too soon at the age of 32, in a tragic house fire. She was surrounded by her cherished pets Simone, Jake and Mon Chat.

Jorden will be deeply missed by her parents Marni and Shawn, Sister Shawna, Son Austin, Grandparents Terry, Bob, and Sharon, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Jorden had a happy, warm and infectious personality that made her the life of the party. She had a distinct chuckle, which I am sure if you put your ear to the sidewalk in Bronte, you will hear her laughter echo through the concrete.

Jorden had a deep love for animals, not only for her own pets, but of all creatures. They were a constant source of joy and comfort for her and if you knew Jorden you can likely remember her love of squeezing animals noses.

Her dream was to one day open her own animal rescue. We grieve the loss of the possibility for her to realize this wonderful dream.
