It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan David Hornby, age 41, on September 21, 2022.

Jonathan was the beloved son of Jim and Mary-Anne Hornby, brother of Christopher (Amanda) and Sarah (Kyle), uncle of Alice, nephew of Marc and Pamela Deslongchamps, cousin of Corinne and Alison (Alex) and dear friend to so many.

Above all else, Jon will be remembered for his huge heart, humble nature, and unforgettable sense of humour.  Always willing to help anyone who needed it, he was kind and truly selfless. Jon brought laughter and warmth to everyone he met.

A talented craftsman and business owner, he had a creative mind with a keen eye for design. He loved sports, but basketball most of all as both a fan and a great player.

To know Jon was to love him, and we will miss him so much.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 2 ^nd , 2022 at the Holiday Inn Oakville Centre at 590 Argus Road in Oakville from 1pm – 4pm.
