Peacefully, passed away in his 85th year, at Sunrise of Oakville, on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Predeceased by his wife Janina. Jonas is survived by sons Victor (Jayne) and Edmund (Sandy), grandchildren Veronica, Richard, Harmony, Stephen, Amanda, Magdalena, Robert, Angela and Tomas, and great-grandson Gabriel. As per Jonas' request, he will be cremated and a private ceremony will take place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
