On Sunday, October 11, 2020, John Wilson Skilling, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 86.  John was born May 11, 1934 in Ayrshire Scotland to Andrew and Margaret (Wilson) Skilling.  He was a member of the Black Watch regiment and married Sandra McGrath on February 27, 1959.  Moving their family to Canada in 1970, they raised two daughters, Kim and Lesley.  Known for his sense of humour by family, friends and neighbours, John enjoyed a round of golf, playing billiards and gardening.  He is survived by his wife Sandra, his two children, Kim (Mark) and Lesley, and grandchildren Ryan (Tyson) and Ashley (Brad).  John will be dearly remembered and missed by his family.  To honour John's life, and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in his memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
