Peacefully at his home in Oakville on Monday, December 13, 2010. John, beloved husband of Fern (Eakins). Loved father of Craig and his wife Grace, Joanne and her husband Mike and the late Gayle and son-in-law Scott. Dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Dr. Douglas Manners and his wife Florence and late brother Charles Manners and late sister Joan Heck. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Friday between 2-4 and 7-9pm with a Service of Remembrance on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
