Often we focus our eyes on the storm itself failing to see God moving on the waves of the storm, bringing good to us.
"The Lord is good." No matter how severe the storm, or dark the day, and impossible the problem, the Lord is good.
John was always thankful for the blessings in his life and strived to see the good in every situation.
There is a place of rest, it is in the Lord.
God gives us a personal invitation to come onto him; he doesn't say go but come. Resting is always in him.
"And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:13.
John's heart desire was to see his family and friends know Jesus as their Lord and savior. John is now waiting with Jesus to meet them all in heaven.
