Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30th in Oakville at Ian Anderson House after more than two years battling Multiple Myeloma cancer. He was 63. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Trudy, his sons Jeremy and Christopher, daughters-in law Tabitha and Sarah, and beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, Charlotte, and Ezra. Merv was the fifth of nine children, born and raised in Netherhill, Saskatchewan. He is survived by seven loving brothers and sisters, who feel his loss deeply. Merv will be missed greatly by his entire family and the many friends he met and inspired along the way. Following 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Merv spent the latter part of his life as a career and leadership coach helping others discover the best in themselves. Visitation will be at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr Street), Oakville, from 2- 4 and 7-9 pm Friday. A Celebration of Merv's Life will be held St. Simon's Anglican Church, 1450 Litchfield Road, Oakville, on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish donations to Ian Anderson House would be appreciated.
