It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Thomas D'Arcy McCallum on March 24, 2015 in Oakville, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Huguette (St. Vincent) and his sisters, Carol Bertoia and Maureen Getty, as well as his nine nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. Son of the late John McCallum and Anne Cornell, John was born and raised in Montreal. He attended Loyola High School and Loyola College. He spent his career with CIBA-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, first in Montreal then in Mississauga and was VP Administration & Finance when he retired in 1993. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A "Celebration of Life" will be held for family and friends on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 1:30 – 5:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
