On Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Houston, Texas. John beloved husband of Marie (Paul). Loving father of Michael (Suzanne), Paula (Andrew), and Karen (Joe). Dear grandfather of Céline, Graeme, Brendan, Anne, David and Marie. Brother of Geraldine, Sister Marie and Sister Margery. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
