Son of the late Duncan MacMaster and Flora (Campbell) of Glencoe, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Passed away suddenly at his home, on Thursday, December 14, 2006, in his 76th year. Cherished husband of 54 years to Mamie. Predeceased by son Wayne. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Catherine Bell (C.B.), Gillis (John), Anne MacDonald (John). Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Bessie (late Melvin) Morrison of Stirling. Niece Sheila and Chris Sturtridge of Barrie, Ontario; nephews and nieces Gordie Gillis, Angus, John Wayne, Brenda, Donna and Helena MacDonald of Port Hood, Nova Scotia. Nieces Diane Riley and Roger Gaudry of Ottawa, Margery and Philip Meier of Albany, New York, Donna and Jack Hayes of Sarnia, Shirley and Walter Hawes of Ottawa, nephews Norman and Judy Morrison of Ottawa, David Morrison, Stirling, Nova Scotia, Douglas and Sarah Morrison of Stirling. Predeceased by his brother Angus MacMaster of Glencoe, Nova Scotia; his brother and sister-in-law Duncan and Phyllis Morrison of Sarasota, Florida, and brother-in-law Dan Morrison of Stirling, Nova Scotia. Greatly loved and will be missed by many grand nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Oakville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
