Of Mississauga, Ontario died October 28, 2010 after a short fight against cancer. Born in Surrey, England, July 12, 1945 to William and Phyllis Tyler who immigrated to Canada in 1957. John had a passion for driving across Canada as a transport driver; he loved Clint Eastwood movies and spending time with his grandchildren. John will be dearly missed by his wife, Arlene (nee Martin), his daughter Catherine and her husband Jeff and their two children Ryan and Eryn; his son Michael and his wife Jan and their two children Victoria and Paige; his daughter Louise and her husband Stefan and their daughter Abigail; his brother Scott and his brother Kevin and his wife Michelle and their two children Krista and Jordyn; his good friends Yves and Louise. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 & 7-9pm Sunday October 31, 2010. Funeral Service will be held 4:30pm Monday November 1, 2010 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. Cremation to follow.
