Peacefully on September 7th, 2014 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 91 after a long , healthy and full life. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 63 years Mary (nee McConney). Father of David (Thalia) and Peter (Josie) and the late Ian. Loved grandfather of Sean, Cleal, Lisa, Robinson and Laura. Survived by sisters-in-law Mary McConney of Barrie and Lois McConney of Uxbridge. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Husband, father, athlete, soldier, scientist, teacher, nutritionist, sailor, music lover, life-long volunteer and role-model. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, September 12th, 2014 with a Service of Remembrance at 1pm on Saturday, September 13th 2014 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William St., Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kerr Street Ministries.
