On Sunday, April 20, 2008 with his family by his side, it is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of John William (Bill) Pidgeon in his 78th year. Bill, beloved and devoted husband of Marilyn. Predeceased by his sister Thelma, loving brother to Robert. Loving, caring and devoted father to Cathi (Mare) Peters, Vicki (David) Lawrence, Debra (Kevin) Landry and Darlene (Tony) Davis and predeceased by William Jr. (Bill). Loving grandpa to Shawn, Heather (Andrew) Helton, Samantha and Emily. Great grandpa to Jennah. Loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at Maple Villa for the great care that was provided over the past four years. "Family" was everything to him. He will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Bill's life will be held in the Kopriva Chapel on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer Society.
