John passed away peacefully on October 17,2021 at The Waterford Long Term Care Residence in Oakville after a long battle with Parkinsons.

He lived a long fulfilling life while travelling the world. He worked in the automotive industry in Hamilton and Oakville till his retirement. In his retirement he developed a love for harness racing. He owned and bred multiple race winning horses in Ontario.
In his life he supported many charities as he was a very kind, thoughtful and generous gentleman.

Special thanks to the staff, doctors, nurses and caregivers at The Waterford, Oakville Trafalgar Hospital and Pam Wichenko for the excellent care and compassion provided.

He will be greatly missed by family and countless friends. He is survived by nieces, Holly Brayianis and Susan Smith as well as nephew David Watkinson.
