Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home in Oakville on March 17, 2012 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Lise (nee Caron) for 51 years. Cherished father of Kathy (Peter Hooper), Shari (Randy Gobin) and Joel Jr. (Lara). Loving Papa of Megan and Peter Joel Hooper, Marty and Stefanie Gobin and Joel III and Ryan Saunders. Joel was always very proud of his family but for every second of pride he had in his children, they have been a thousand times prouder to call him Dad. A visitation celebrating the life of Joel will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-5 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012. To say we will miss him doesn't begin to cover it, but it's a start. He will be in all our hearts forever.
