It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jobran Shakkour, a devoted husband and father, a cherished grandfather, a beloved brother and uncle, and a loyal friend. Jobran passed away peacefully at home in Oakville, Ontario, on December 10, surrounded by his family.

Jobran is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Seham; his children, Sawsan, Suha, Mayada,  Jacob, Layla, Mark; and his adored grandchildren, Lucas, Alexander, Leopold, Theodore, Sofia and Elodie.

Born in Nazareth, Jobran lived a life of courage and ambition. He encouraged his children to embrace the world with open hearts and adventurous spirits, values he exemplified throughout his own life.

In 1996, Jobran embarked on a bold journey, immigrating to Canada with his family to provide them with greater opportunities. A true entrepreneur and risk-taker, he worked tirelessly to build a life filled with purpose and joy. His resilience and passion were unwavering, even as he bravely battled cancer over the past five years.

Jobran's love for life was contagious, and his adventurous spirit inspired all who knew him. Whether it was exploring new ventures or cherishing time with his family, he approached every moment with determination and love.

Rest in peace, Jobran. Your legacy of hard work, ambition, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of those you leave behind.
