It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joao Dias Da Silveira, on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville. Joao will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Evangelina, his children John and Stella, their spouses Laura and Moses, all of his loving grandchildren and many other family and friends. Viewing will be at the Kopriva Funeral Home at 64 Lakeshore Road West in Oakville, from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8th and Tuesday, February 9th. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Old Bronte Road, Oakville on W ednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Toronto.
