At home on June 3, 2012, with her family at her side, Joanne passed away at the age of 53 with grace, beauty and a deep love for her family and friends.
Joanne will be sadly missed by all for her infectious personality, beautiful smile and warmth that was extended to all of those she met. As an extremely accomplished and talented musician, Joanne was able to reach and help others through the joy of music, whether playing piano, singing, dancing, arranging, directing, leading, or composing. Joanne will be sorely missed by Steve, her husband of 28 years, children Christopher and Courtney, parents John and Barbara Ball, sisters Sandie Blackmore and her husband Grant, Carolyn Wilson and her husband Jim, brother Robbie Ball and his wife Moira, mother-in-law Elizabeth Power, sister-in-law Louise Clark and her husband Craig, and all of her nieces and nephews: Nicole and family, Michelle and family, Alan and family, Peter and family, Jenny, Meghan, Stephie, Kieran, Simon, Nikki, Josh, and Henry. A memorial service to celebrate Joanne's extraordinary life will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Maple Grove United Church located at 346 Maple Grove Drive, Oakville at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
