Joan Audrey Slingerland, daughter of Albert (Ted) and Evelyn Slingerland, sister of David, aunt of niece Debbie Slingerland and nephew Cory Williamson, great-aunt of Matthew Williamson.  Retired Teacher.  Member of RTO, R.W.T.O, Oakville Place Mall Walkers and Oakville Osteoporosis Support Group.  No flowers, please.  Donations can go to the Oakville Osteoporosis Support Group or the charity of your choice.

Private family internment will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines, Ontario on Friday May 3rd.   A Celebration of Life will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville on Saturday, May 4th from 2-4 pm.

Joan held a special place in the hearts of all who knew her and will be greatly missed
