Joan Marie Rabjohn (Lancaster)

Joan Marie Rabjohn passed away in her 91 ^st year on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH).  Joan was predeceased in 2014 by her devoted husband of 64 years, Arlen Victor Rabjohn.  She was the loving mom of Gary (Shirley), beloved Granny to Jason (Rebecca) and Susan Garfat (Aaron) and adoring "GG" to Jordan & Carlisle Garfat and Tanner Rabjohn.

Mom worked for many years as a book-keeper at King Paving in Oakville.  She was a long-time proud volunteer at (the old) OTMH and a life-long member of Trafalgar Golf & Country Club where she actively participated in the Business Ladies Group and enjoyed many wonderful long-lasting friendships.

Mom lived her last few years at the Oakville Senior Citizens Residence where she endeared herself to everyone she met, staff and residents alike.

Mom courageously endured a number of ailments and physical pain the past couple of years and bravely passed away on her own terms with her treasured family by her side.  Her parting words were, "It's not goodbye; it's see you later."  Mom has been cremated and she will soon be joining dad, grandma and grandpa.

The family is forever grateful to Dr. McDowell and Dr. May and the wonderful nurses of 7 ^th Floor Centre Wing at OTMH for their caring and compassion during the last 4 weeks of mom's life.
