Joan Margaret Prater, mother to Shelley Prater, Adrian Prater, and Charo Prater White and daughter to Tom Edward Foxall and Ruby Murial Foxall (Williams), passed Monday, September 30th, 2024. Her final moments were spent peacefully at her long-term care facility in Oakville surrounded by her children.

Known for her love and passion for spiritual and nontraditional medical teachings, in many cases years ahead of public acceptance, Joan will be dearly missed by the people closest to her.  She was a caring & unique individual who only wanted to enrich the lives of everyone she met.

Joan will be remembered for her deep love of her pets, especially her bird Mosie and loyal dog Simon and her love of reading and music.

Joan was cremated on Oct 3rd and her ashes will be spread at her cottage in Bancroft where she spent the happiest days of her life.
