On Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Ian Anderson House, Oakville, Joan's cancer defeated her body, but not her soul. She has now rejoined Jim, her beloved husband of 45 years. Sadly missed by her loving son Duncan, his wife Sondra and her many dear friends. Joan was a long-time member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and its choir. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday with prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville at 11:00 a.m. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
