Suddenly on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Joan (Collins), beloved wife of Jim Johnston. Loving mother of Joanne (Michael), Heather (Paolo), Michael (Leslie) and Andy. Loved sister of Norm (Ineke). Predeceased by her brother George. Cherished grandmother of Courtney, Graham, Sydney, Sarah, Parker, Carter, Oscar, Daniel and Charlotte. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Joan will be held 11:30 am Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 318 Queen Mary Drive, Oakville. Reception to follow. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or to St. Aidan's Church would be appreciated.
