After a courageous battle with cancer Joan passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House on Monday, November 16, 2009. Joan will be greatly missed by her two living brothers Robert and Eric Ashcroft, her children Philip and Geoff and their wives Julie and Carolyn, Susan, wife of deceased son Reg, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and close friends Susan and Trevor Jones. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Wednesday, November 18 . A service of remembrance for family and friends will follow at the Church of the Epiphany, 141 Bronte Road, Oakville 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009.
