Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Jill McDonald (nee Armstrong) lost her battle with a long standing upper trachea narrowing. She was the loving wife of Neil McDonald for almost 50 years. Beloved mother of Heather (Mark) and James (Claire) and cherished Grandmother of Casey, Luca, Zoey, and Benjamin. Loving sister to Judy (William) and Sister-in-law to Janet. Aunt to Kelly, Kerry, Jennifer, Lisa, Eleanor, and Peter. She had many great nieces and great nephews. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and extended family. Jill had a wonderful smile and contagious laugh. She loved animals and nature, especially her backyard oasis. Her family would like to thank Halton EMS and the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for her exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society would be appreciated in Jill's memory. A private service for her immediate family will be held Saturday January 22. When restrictions allow, a celebration of Jill's life will be held for everyone who loved her. Rest in peace sweet angel.
