Jeffrey Blake Garrett Shelefontiuk - passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023

Born in Surrey, British Columbia on July 31, 1968 - Jeffrey is survived by the love of his life and Soulmate, Gloria Rodriguez of Kyle, Texas, her family, and his beloved Mom (Mary). Jeff was the baby brother to big sister Sylvia, brother Mike (Janice), brother Steve (Linda), brother Jerry (Eva), sister Alice (Tim), brother David (Elinor), sister Rose (Alan).

Jeff had many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins but was closest to his niece Cheryl whom he loved playing tour guide to on her many trips to Toronto and knew where the best hidden breakfast spots were.

Jeff was "the best handyman" around at his Gateway community - "he could fix just about anything". He had a green thumb and his love of flowers and plants were evident wherever he lived.

He was quite a computer geek and was often upgrading his computer skills in an effort to become a Data Analyst.

A hopeless romantic, Jeff loved to cook while listening to his favourite Jazz tunes or watching any one of his favourite movies…all the while talking to his "Glo".

Jeff was regarded by his friends as a generous, highly compassionate person with a good sense of humour - would do "anything to make you smile".

He will be missed by all who knew him.
