Obituary

Jeffrey passed away at home on Valentine's Day with his family at his side.

Jeff attended Oakville Trafalgar High School, NYU and U of T. He had a wonderful sense of style and an incredible passion for life. He lived his life to its fullest pleasures - finding the perfect restaurant for a meal, planting flowers and vegetables in his garden and searching markets for savory splendours.

He loved good movies, good food, good wine and fine clothes. He was a "cultural creative" before we had a name for them - pursuing journalism, painting, film making, photography and writing. He was a modern day 'Cecil B. DeMille', finding ways to turn simple events into extravagant showcases or converting his childhood home into a movie set. He loved board games at the cottage, sailing, soccer and BLT's. He laughed when playing golf with his Dad, made suggestions for ingredients when cooking with his Mom and was a mentor to his brother and sister.

Jeff was our" Renaissance Man". He loved everything about New York City especially the Sunday Times. His breadth of knowledge covered art, politics, architecture and you name it he knew about it. He will be sadly missed by his parents Judy and Bill, his brother Brian, sister Janet, brother-in-law Viren. the twins, Uma and Ved and his extended family. Jeff's close friends, whom he loved with a passion sustained him. His nurse (dog) Rocket is still searching for him.

The family would like to thank JT for opening up another world of healing and ways to think about life. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Crump and the caring staff at PMH in Toronto and Dr. Frank Rouse in Oakville.

We welcome friends and family to join us at Gairloch Gardens in the Gallery Studio, 1306 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Oakville on Saturday February 21st from 2pm to 4 pm. Donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or a charity of your choice.
