Jeanette W. Yu passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House hospice on December 23, 2024.  She lived her life to the fullest, loved her golf and travelled the world.  All the while she thought of others first and never wanted to burden anyone's time with her needs.  She found great joy in family and friends even as she courageously fought a five year battle with lung cancer.

Jeanette was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth Yu.  She is survived by her sons Alex (Debra), Bernard (Stephanie), and Christopher (Fiona) and six grandchildren, Jadyn, Isabella, Jacob, Teaghan, Emerson and Thomas.  She has three brothers and one sister in Hong Kong and a sister in New York City.

A small private family service was held for her.  Jeanette's final wishes were for donations to Ian Anderson House hospice of the Canadian Cancer Society.
