Jean was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Andrew (Ann), Evelyn (Michael), and Rhona (Brad); her grandchildren Sarah (Jerry), Erica (Christopher), Jordan (Cate), Stewart (Corinne), Jessica (Jeff), Christopher (Beth), Neil (Sam), Corey (Ashley), Emily (Chris) and great-grandchildren Gemma, Elias, Cleo, Geoffrey, Vincent, Miriam, Levi, Liam, Isaac, Emerson, Blake, Sloane, Penelope, Wyatt, Caleb and Lily who were a constant source of joy and pride.
As a child, Jean loved exploring the beloved Ochil Hills of Scotland and riding through nearby towns on her trusty bicycle. She was a founding member of the Oakville Pathfinders hiking group, an enthusiastic Scottish Country Dancer, a keen card player, and a joyful participant in many social activities. Jean was lovingly known as the Shortbread Queen, a title earned from the cherished recipe she learned as a child.
Jean's kindness, humor, and vibrant energy brought warmth to every room. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
