Peacefully at her home in Oakville on Saturday January 1, 2011. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 4, 1913. Predeceased by her beloved husband (R.D.) Peter. Greatly missed by her children Jane Haslett, David, John (Jennifer); her grandchildren Andrew, Thomas, Peter and Jennifer Haslett and Kathleen and Rachael Mulholland, her nine great-grandchildren, Miranda, Aidan, Leora, Renee, Stephanie, Cole, Aliyah, Dilicia and Adeline and many other family members. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 6-8 pm on Thursday. A Service to Celebrate Jean's life will be held at 11:00 am Friday January 7, 2011 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
