Died: July 5th 2024 - Oakville, Ontario

Parents:  Katherine (nee Young) and Charles Watters

Siblings: Mary Manchester (Carp, Ontario), Sloane Watters (Arnprior, Ontario), Audrey Owens (Toronto, Ontario)

Born on the family farm in Dymond Township, Jane spent her early years in New Liskeard, Ontario.  She moved to Ottawa in 1943 to work for the Minister of Veterans Affairs.  In 1950 she married Maurie Breen (Douglas, Ontario) and moved to Smith Falls where their first son Michael was born.  After then settling in Toronto, Mary Jane, Wendy, Douglas and Maurice completed their family.

Change came in 1968 with a move to London, England where Maurie had accepted a role with Crown Life insurance company.  Jane embraced this change and developed a love for England, making the very most of eleven years there and developing many lasting friendships along the way

Returning to Canada in 1979, Jane and Maurie set up home in London, Ontario and finally returned to Ottawa in 1985 living downtown at 151 Bay St. for over 30 years. Maurie passed away in 2009 and Jane continued to live in Ottawa until recently moving to assisted living in Oakville - closer to her family.

Jane was a natural, positive, fun, intelligent and beautiful spirit.  She was loved, and will be missed by, her children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and her myriad of loving friends.

May she sleep well and rest in loving peace.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday July 12, 2024 at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville at 10:30 am.
