Obituary

Tragically passed away on April 25, 2015 in Tiny Township, Ontario. He was predeceased by his father, Jan in 1969, and mother, Bronislawa in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Maria, daughter Violetta, son Robert (Klara), brother Stanislaw (Irena), and sister Kristina (Dennis). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Born July 13, 1951 in Karnkow, Poland, he immigrated to Canada in 1981, where his immediate family joined him two years later. Along with Joe Cyfko, he played an instrumental role in founding St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Oakville and supporting it through fundraising, social activities, and many material contributions. He was a hardworking, accomplished, selfless, gregarious, and family-oriented gentleman who was well-liked both in the community and in his longstanding workplace (Nestle Canada). Friends and family will be received at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Thursday April 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 40 John Street, Oakville. Burial to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville.

The Lord said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die…." (John 11: 25-26).
