Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Friend

Surrounded by the love of his family, Jim (James) Turner passed peacefully on November 5th, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, creativity, and strength.

Jim was the devoted husband of the late Judy Turner, and a loving father to Jodi (David) & Kelly (Joey). Life-long friend and brother-in-law to Ron (Luz) and Uncle to Anthony (Nicole).  He was a proud grandfather to Luka, and he now joins his precious grandchildren Lola, Charles, and Simon in eternal peace.

A true fighter, Jim faced every challenge with courage and zest — living fully through each day, even after surviving cancer not once, but multiple times. His perseverance and feisty spirit were an inspiration to everyone who knew him.

Jim found happiness in creating and fixing things with his hands. A talented woodworker and natural craftsman, he poured love and patience into everything he built. Whether in his workshop or out in nature, he had a way of bringing beauty and purpose to the simplest moments.

He cherished the peace of country living — the open skies, the quiet woods, and the steady rhythm of life outdoors. Those who knew Jim will remember his strength, loyalty, and creativity.

Though his hands are now still, the love he shared and the things he built — in wood and in spirit — will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Jim's life and honor the remarkable man he was.

In Leiu of flowers donations to Procyon Wildlife would be greatly appreciated.
