James Jack (Jim) born February 8, 1945 to Ella and Thomas Phillips passed away November 10, 2023.

Brother to Robert Phillips (deceased), Kenneth Phillips (deceased) and sister Barbara Brewer.  Jim is survivced by his beloved wife Diane, his sons Sean, Jason and his daughter Stephanie, grandchildren Pyper, Roy and Jonathan.

Jim was a retired employee of Bell Canada having worked in Quebec and Ontario.  While in Quebec he had an opportunity that saw him work in the Arctic and Saudi Arabia.

Jim enjoyed travelling and watching his favourite sport on TV – basketball.  He enjoyed having a beer or two at his local pub.  Family and friends are invited on Thursday November 23, 2023 to service to celebrate his life at 1 pm at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville.  His cremated remains will be placed in the garden at St. Jude's Church, 160 William Street Oakville at 2 pm and there will be a toast to Jim at the Pipes and Taps Pub, 231 Oak Park Blvd. #101 commencing at 3 pm.
