It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmie, beloved husband of Janet (nee Morrow), brother-in-law to Barney Morrow, and best friend to Jan Small. Raised in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Jim was the only child of Jean and Ernie Hinchey. From Moosejaw, Jim joined the Royal Canadian Navy, and then had a career at Smith & Stone. A lifetime golfer, Jimmie was the pro at Waskesiu Golf Course and enjoyed many years as a member of the Toronto Golf Club. Jimmie and Janet enjoyed keeping up with all the sports events, especially when shared with friends. He had a great interest for cars, gardening, and was an avid bird lover. Jim enjoyed his life with his wife Janet, residing in Oakville, Ontario, where they made many friends. They loved to travel throughout North America and spent many winters in Florida, where they continued to grow lifetime friendships. The family wishes to acknowledge their appreciation to the staff of Churchill Place for their excellent and loving care of Jimmie. At Jimmie's request there will be no service.
