Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Arthur Backus.  He went peacefully on Jan 11, 2022 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.  He is reunited with his beloved wife Elsie Backus (nee Logan).  He is predeceased by brother Gary, survived by sister Beryl (predeceased Don), Marylyn (Wayne), brother Dale (Jeanette) , many neices, nephews and countless friends.  He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jim and Elsie's lives  will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Rd W. (one block east of Kerr St.) Oakville, on February 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will be held at St Jude's Cemetery in the spring.
