Obituary

JOY HOOGLAND

Joy passed away peacefully at Hastings Manor in Belleville in her 97'th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henk in 2009. She will be forever missed by her sister Lucy, her two sons Ron and Leslie and her daughter-in-law Sheila. She was a much loved grandmother to Kim, Kris, Melissa and Josh. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Taylor, Ben, Avery, Raelynn and Kylie. Her loss will also be felt by her many nieces and nephews. Michael, Eric, Gerry and Erik will always remember her. She was a great aunt to Trevor, Stephanie and Jeremy as well as Kelsey, Ainslie and Emily.  Benjamin, Frannie, Paige, Presley, Austin, Elliot and Kayden will also miss their great aunt. Her youngest relatives, Charlotte, Michael and Henry have also lost their great, great aunt.  Special thanks go to the wonderful staff at Hastings Manor for the care and comfort they provided in her last few years. In lieu of flowers any donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated. The family requests that only those who are fully vaccinated attend the service. The service is at 12:00 noon on Tuesday October 12'th.
