Irfan Disha passed away peacefully on October 10th 2026 at the age of 87, surrounded by his family.

Irfan loved life , loved his family and his friends to the fullest.

He was a wonderful father to his daughters. Dad was a caring, courageous and generous man who took pride in his work as a teacher and a mentor to many others who had the opportunity to work and learn from him.

Dad loved animals, traveling and gardening and he was a great storyteller, always had a great sense of humour, even when he was not in good health.

Dad will be dearly missed by his family here in Canada and abroad.

We would like to thank the whole team of palliative care nurses and doctors here in Oakville for their support, kindness and compassion to our father.

Visitation will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home Wednesday October 14, 2026 10:30 am - 11:30 am with Funeral Services to follow in the chapel at 11:30 am. Burial at St. Volodymyr's Cemetery.
