Passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at home at age 80. Beloved wife of the late Josef. Loved Mother of Angelika and Axel (Yvonne). Cherished Oma of Jason. Predeceased by her twin brother Kurt and her sister Edith. Irene will be sadly missed by other family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9pm on Friday with a service celebrating her life on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1pm in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
